Biographical Sketch
Trained as a general surgeon followed by a fellowship in surgical critical care with a trauma surgery focus, Dr. George moved to the Akron area with aspirations to further develop a program focusing on exemplary clinical care for the trauma patient as well as the patient's family. Furthermore, resident and student education also is of highest priority. His research interests include outcomes-based clinical investigation, traumatic brain injury and surgical education. Volunteering on a local community soccer board, he enjoys playing and promoting soccer with his children in addition to his interests in photography, classic sports cars and horseback riding.
