Biographical Sketch
Mark A. Iler, M.D., FACC has practiced cardiology in Akron since 2007. He has subspecialty expertise in cardiovascular imaging, and is the medical director of the Summa Cardiovascular Imaging Program for cardiovascular CT. He is a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Honors include Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, OSU College of Medicine Achievement Award, and the Clinical Research Award in Cardiology at Cleveland Clinic. He has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals and given research presentations at national and international conferences. He continues to be involved in clinical research at Summa. Other professional affiliations include the American Society of Echocardiography, the Society for Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Iler is a native of Akron. He and his wife have three children.
