My name is Charlotte Cummings and this is my dog Diesel. I had a minimally invasive right total hip replacement at Summa. Before my surgery, I had a horrible deep achy pain. And that was absent following the surgery. I was in and out of surgery within an hour. I was out of the recovery room within another hour and I was up in my room before noon. The physical therapist was in the room by that afternoon and actually had me up and walking with a walker. So within about 36 hours of my surgery I went home. I was back to work within a month. And now that’s one thing I’m so looking forward to doing is to get out there with Diesel in the woods and going on the towpath with my bike. I would most definitely recommend Summa.
