Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient Programs

   Summa's Psychiatric Intensive Group Therapy Outpatient Program provides treatment to those with a wide range of mental health issues. Patients discharged from inpatient will benefit from this program, as well as patients who do not require hospitalization but need more psychiatric care than weekly outpatient programs can provide. It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, nurses and dependency clinicians. We treat both primary psychiatric patients as well as those with a dual diagnosis, such as chemical dependency and related psychiatric problems. The program includes a weekly, mandatory Family Program, and an additional six weeks of aftercare is provided at no charge.
