Bariatric Treatment Services

Summas Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic also provides services for patients with weight management issues. Services for bariatric surgery include pre-surgical psychiatric/psychological evaluation. Educational programs are also available for those who engage in emotional eating, overeating or binge eating. It is designed to help identify cognitions, behaviors and emotional processes that inhibit the patients ability to follow regular, healthy eating habits.
