Why did you choose this as your career path?
I choose athletic training as my career so I could make a difference in athlete’s lives.
I enjoy the challenge of each new injury and the excitement of knowing I helped the athletes get healthy so they can return to what they love doing.
Your most memorable experience as an ATC?
I held a football player out of a game due to a concussion- he was not very happy with me at the time. A couple weeks later his mom made a special trip to the athletic training room to tell me she was thankful I treated her son. The athlete also apologized for his behavior and told me he was grateful I was at the game. Whenever I would see his parents at the school they would stop and thank me again!
