Alumni of the University of Toledo Athletic Training Student Club where I served a term as Treasurer during my undergraduate experience.
Why did you choose this as your career path?
I grew up around sports and was always involved in them somehow. When going to college I knew I wanted to work within the medical field but still wanted to stay involved with sports somehow. I enrolled into an intro course for athletic training and just knew it was right for me and from there, there was no turning back. I have a passion for helping others and being involved in sports, and athletic training fulfills both of those passions.
Your most memorable experience as an athletic trainer?
Working with the University of Toledo’s Women’s Basketball Team as a student when they won the WNIT championship in 2011.
