Private mother/baby rooms available at all Summa hospitals:

• Summa Akron City Hospital’s mother baby unit (on 3 north) features 18 newly renovated private rooms featuring a full bathroom with ceramic-tiled shower to provide a relaxing, spa-like environment for new moms
• Baby stays in mother’s room unless there is a medical need for nursery care

• Midwifery services (available at all three hospitals)
• Low-risk birthing room with minimal medical intervention
