Summa celebrates in the incredible work accomplished by our nurses throughout our hospitals every day.
Summa Health System celebrates the excellence of its nurses and their “Care Beyond” that consistently exceeds our patients’ expectations. Through research, clinical care practices and active partnering with our physicians and other healthcare professionals, Summa nurses practice at the forefront of their profession.
Thanks to the commitment of our nurses, we have achieved Magnet status at Summa Akron City and St. Thomas Hospitals and re-designated with Magnet status at Robinson Memorial Hospital, an affiliate of Summa Health System. Only 7% of hospitals nationwide earn Magnet status. We are proud that our nurses achieved this “gold standard” of care. Our nurses continuously inspire us. We want them to know how much we appreciate their dedication and commitment to patient care.
