This old fashioned county fair is just one example of New Horizons’ innovative approach to providing great experiences for seasoned citizens to actively enjoy the day. New Horizons provides a comprehensive Adult Enhancement Program that enriches the life experiences of the participants and allows them to share their experiences with others. The program provides nursing services, medical monitoring, medication administration, healthy meals and snacks, personal care, therapeutic and fun activities, community outings, and transportation services to and from the center.
Providing a physical, emotional and intellectually challenging experience for older adults, the New Horizons is a cost effective alternative to nursing home and home healthcare services. Healthcare professionals specializing in the needs of older adults staff the program. The center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. to serve the individual needs and schedules of participants.
