Are you or a loved one experiencing joint pain and want to know when it may be time to see a joint specialist? Join Daniel Myer, M.D., Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center joint specialist, for a free community health talk on how important quality of life is when deciding if and when to see an orthopaedic joint specialist. Dr. Myer, a fellowship-trained and arthroscopic, knee and shoulder replacement surgery specialist, can answer your questions and share information on joint health, signs and symptoms of joints wearing out, and when you should see a specialist.
An Akron-area native, Dr. Myer returned to his roots and followed in the footsteps of his father, Timothy Myer, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Cuyahoga Falls. After graduating from The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Myer served as chief resident physician at Summa Health System and completed his fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. Dr. Myer’s offices are located in Cuyahoga Falls and at Summa St. Thomas Hospital in Akron.
Quality of life is the bottom line in deciding if and when to see an orthopaedic joint specialist. If you cannot do the things you enjoy – such as taking long walks, dancing or participating in sports – then it is time to see a specialist. Becoming familiar with proper joint health and causes and symptoms of joint pain and joints wearing out can help you determine if and when to seek appropriate treatment and ongoing care in order to live a pain-free lifestyle.
