WADSWORTH, Ohio, Nov. 7, 2012 – The Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Employee Recognition Committee has announced September and October Employees of the Month for their service to the hospital and dedication to patient care.
Lena Giannoulis, Pre-Access Representative in the Central Scheduling Department, was honored as September Employee of the Month. Giannoulis has been an employee at Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital for five years. She works full-time on first shift. One of the things Giannoulis says she likes best about working at the hospital is her co-workers, providing customer service to the patients and continually learning new things.
Giannoulis grew up in Fairview, Ohio, and currently resides in Medina with her husband, Jim, and their two sons Anthony and Matthew. A third son, Christopher, is in the Security Forces at Malstrome Air Force Base in Montana.
Giannoulis enjoys decorating, working in the yard, and spending time with family and friends. Giannoulis says she is proud to be an American and supports our troops.
Andrea Zimmerly, an LPN in the Center for Corporate Health, was honored as October Employee of the Month. Zimmerly has worked at the hospital for two years and currently works full-time on first shift. Prior to joining the Center for Corporate Health, Zimmerly worked on the Medical/Surgical Unit. She says she enjoys the daily opportunity to give comfort and care to others and working with her awesome co-workers.
Zimmerly grew up in Wadsworth and currently resides in Sterling with her companion Tom and her children Tyler, Jon and Danielle. Zimmerly enjoys spending time with Tom, her children and family members. She also enjoys decorating, flower gardening and traveling.
