AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 28, 2012 – Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center, a partnership with Summa Health System, recently opened a convenient outpatient hospital facility in Hudson, located at 1310 Corporate Drive. The 9,420-square-foot facility includes orthopaedic care provided by Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center surgeons and Crystal Plastic Surgeons as well as imaging and physical and occupational therapy.
A team of six orthopaedic surgeons are on staff that specialize in hand, hip, knee, plastics and reconstruction, shoulder and elbow, spine, sports medicine and total joint replacement conditions. Imaging services include digital X-ray, which allows physicians to immediately diagnose a condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Specialized hand, physical and occupational therapists will also provide the full spectrum of orthopaedic therapy to meet patients’ conditions and needs.

Orthopaedic surgeons include Michael Magoline, M.D., a specialist in sports medicine and total joint replacement surgery; John Biondi, M.D., a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery; Thomas Reilly, M.D., a specialist in hand and upper extremity reconstructive surgery; Gary Pennington, M.D., a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as hand and upper extremity surgery; Scot Miller, D.O., a specialist in adult spine surgery; and Kyle Nelman, M.D., a specialist in sports medicine and shoulder surgery.
