The Village at New Seasons was developed through the combined efforts of the House of the Lord, the East Akron Neighborhood Development Corporation, Testa Companies, Summa Health System and other investors. The more than 115,000 sq. ft., $11.4 million complex in West Akron includes 50 senior living apartments (already open with 10 tenants), retail space and a health center anchored by Summa Health System (opening later this year).

The open house and ribbon cutting event will include remarks from each partner as well as elected officials. A reception in the multi-purpose room and tours of the facility will follow the formal program. A press release with additional details on the Village at New Seasons will be available to the media on the day of the event.

Recognizing a need in the community, the Village at New Seasons partners collaborated to bring the community quality, affordable housing, a health center focused on improving community health, desired retailers, and a revitalized part of West Akron.
