AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 2, 2012 – Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center, a partnership with Summa Health System, is pleased to welcome three new physicians to its combined 400 years of experienced physicians focused on multi-specialty orthopaedic care and treatment.
Timothy Jones, M.D.
Dr. Jones is board-certified in plastic surgery and otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat, or ENT) and is a fellowship-trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Crystal Plastic Surgeons at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center. He specializes in nose and nasal surgery, melanoma and skin cancer, surgery after massive weight loss, and surgical and non-surgical options for reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Jones completed his residency in ENT at the University of Virginia, followed by a residency and fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Jones has served as an assistant professor of surgery at Washington University of St. Louis, started Genesis Cosmetic Surgery Center in St. Louis, Missouri, earned several honors and awards, and has published and presented nationally. Jovan R. Laskovski, M.D.
Dr. Laskovski is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine with a focus on arthroscopic surgery of the hip, shoulder and knee, as well as shoulder and hip arthroplasty. He is a graduate of the University of Akron and Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine (now Northeast Ohio Medical University). He was chief resident physician at Summa Health System and completed his fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Laskovski has earned numerous honors and awards, conducted research and has been published in a number of areas of orthopaedic care. He is located at 2818 S. Arlington Rd. in Green.
Daniel M. Myer, M.D.
Dr. Myer is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in arthroscopic surgery and knee and shoulder replacement surgery. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was chief resident physician at Summa Health System and completed his fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia. Dr. Myer has earned numerous honors and awards and has been a team physician at the high school and college level. He is also the son of Timothy Myer, M.D. orthopaedic surgeon at Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Cuyahoga Falls. Dr. Myer is located at 437 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls and 20 Olive St., Suite 200 in Akron.
