Are you or a loved one experiencing hip or knee pain and want to know more about the treatment options? Join Jonathan Kase, M.D., Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center specialist, for a free community health talk on joint health. Dr. Kase, a fellowship-trained sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery specialist, can answer your questions and share information on joint health, signs and symptoms of joints wearing out, and when you should see a specialist.
A Medina native, Dr. Kase grew up interested and involved in medicine under the influence of his father, Summa Health System family medicine physician Jeffrey Kase, M.D. Outside of his local family ties to medicine, Dr. Kase worked as an orderly at the Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center and completed his residency at Summa Health System. His practice is located in the medical building adjacent to Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Sprained ankles and wrists, arthritic knees and hips, and torn rotator cuffs all have one thing in common: they result in joint pain. The usual causes of joint pain are overuse, sprains, fractures, and arthritis. Becoming familiar with the usual causes and symptoms of joint pain can help you determine if and when to seek appropriate treatment and ongoing care.
