Quality of life is the bottom line in deciding if and when to see a joint specialist. If you cannot do the things you enjoy – such as taking long walks, dancing or participating in sports – then it may be time to see a specialist. Becoming familiar with proper joint health, as well as causes and symptoms of joint pain and joints wearing out, can help you determine if and when to seek appropriate treatment and ongoing care in order to live a pain-free lifestyle.
