Do you enjoy knitting, scrapbooking or needlepoint, but experience hand pain? Join Nina Njus, M.D., Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center surgeon, for a free community health talk on common aches and pains that may be caused by knitting or sewing, as well as treatment options to get you back to the crafts you love.

Dr. Njus is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, with an interest in microsurgery, reconstructive

surgery, trauma and congenital hand surgery. After graduating from the University of

Missouri and University of Iowa College of Medicine, Dr. Njus served her residency and fellowships in research and hand surgery at University of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Njus is a member of several national, state and local medical associations, has held academic positions, and has been published on numerous occasions.
