Feb. 11, 2014 – Corey J. Sievers, M.D., has joined Summa Health System and its Summa Physicians Inc. medical group as a gastroenterologist. Dr. Sievers specializes in gastroenterology and digestive system disorders, and has a special interest in hepatology/liver disease including viral hepatitis and cirrhosis.
Dr. Sievers earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in 2004 and completed his residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was also fellowship-trained in gastroenterology.
Dr. Sievers is currently accepting new patients at either of his office locations, Summa Akron City Hospital or at Summa Health Center at Lake Medina. Patients may call 330/253-1800 to schedule an appointment.
Originally from St. Paul, MN, Dr. Sievers is a resident of Brecksville. He is married with two sons.
