Awards

In 2003, Dr. William Demas and the Cancer Research team at Summa Health System received one of the first Clinical Trials Participation Awards from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).  The award recognizes community research programs that have exhibited quality research based on audit reports and investigators in good standing, total accrual to clinical trials and accrual of minority and underrepresented populations.
