BMI Calculator

To determine your BMI fill in the weight and height information on the calculator and press enter. The calculator will give you your BMI. Once you have that, check it against the chart below to determine your weight category.

How to read your BMI

BMI Weight Status
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5–24.9 Normal
25.0–29.9 Overweight
30.0 and 35 Obese
40+ Morbidly Obese

Talk to your doctor about your BMI to see if you are at increased risk. A small weight loss (as little as 10% of your body weight) may help lower your risk. If your BMI is greater than 35, talk to your doctor about the possibility of a referral to a comprehensive program for weight loss management.
