Mickie's Story

After childbirth, many women like Mickie develop pelvic floor discomfort along with stress incontinence. “When I worked out, it got much worse,” she said. “I put off surgery for years because it’s just such a sensitive issue to talk about, but my surgeon made me feel so comfortable.” After a pelvic reconstruction at Summa Barberton Hospital, Mickie exercises and works on her feet every day without worry.

“The staff was so kind and encouraging. It was the number one thing that got me through. It’s great to be back to normal!”

-Mickie, Wadsworth, OH
