Occupational Medicine - Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Summa Health is seeking an enthusiastic physician for our employed Occupational Medicine position. The role offers significant growth opportunity in a supportive, collegial workplace. Successful candidates will have the following skillset: suturing, reading x-rays, familiarity with foreign body removal.

There are 6 Summa Corporate Health Centers within the Summa Health System. These centers are linked to a network of free-standing and hospital based emergency departments whose emergency medicine physicians are equipped to provide adequate treatment. All Summa Corporate Health locations offer access to physical therapy, occupational therapy and rehabilitation services.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Full support staff: Nurse Practitioners, 3 Medical Assistants, athletic trainer, worker’s compensation specialist; MRO Assistant, billing, receptionist
  • Collaboration with a local medical school to provide elective rotations, and mentorship 

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility -  Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry
  • Training and/or experience in Occupational Medicine
  • Unrestricted Ohio licensure or ability to obtain
  • Oversight of Nurse Practitioners
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification required (can be obtained after acceptance)
  • FMCSA examiner certification required (can be obtained after acceptance)
