50th Anniversary

We recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Summa Health System – Akron Campus Family Medicine Residency program, one of the oldest in the country.

Summa Health System – Akron Campus Family Medicine Residency program has a long history of incredible residency directors committed to the health and wellness needs of our community, as well as to the education of our graduates who have gone on to care for patients across the nation – and the world. Please join us in reflecting on the more than 50-year heritage we all share with the amazing people who made it all happen.

And of course, a 50+-year history cannot be summed up in one 10-minute video.

Here is a historical timeline to take you through all the milestones that make up the Summa Health System – Akron Campus Family Medicine Residency program!
