Mark Bedell is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) that has been with the Summa Health Orthopedic Institute since February 2021. He specializes in spine surgery and primarily works with Dr. Matthew Jaykel in clinical and surgical settings. 

 

Mark attended an accelerated five-year physician assistant program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences and his master’s degree in physician assistant studies. A native of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Mark enjoys hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, traveling and rooting for Cleveland sports teams in his free time.
