Inaugural Summa Health Sleep Symposium

On November 9, 2024, Summa Health’s sleep medicine team participated in an informative half-day focused on the symptoms of sleep disorders, treatment options and innovations, and multidisciplinary care. Our board-certified sleep medicine specialists use their vast experience, the latest research and technology, and advances in clinically proven sleep medicine to support the health and well-being of the patients we serve. 
 
Our board-certified sleep medicine specialists shared information about:
  • The signs and symptoms of common sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia and narcolepsy. 
  • Treatments for obstructive sleep apnea, including CPAP therapy, hypoglossal nerve stimulation and alternative options. 
  • Pharmacological and behavioral approaches to patients with insomnia. 
  • This is a free event

Continuing Education Credits
Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Those attending the entire event may claim up to four (4) continuing medical education (CME) credits.
 
Summa Health System is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
CSTE Program application has been submitted for approval by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists; for in-person registrants only.
Summa Health is approved by OPA-MCE to offer continuing education for psychologists and maintains sole responsibility for the program. Approved Provider #341887844. This course is approved for continuing education for psychologists by the Ohio Psychological Association for 4.0 contact hours. 
 
Requirements*: Clearly print Name on Attendance Sheet, print/provide Ohio Psychology License number, and sign in through EEDs for attendance verification (*If attending virtually in addition to EEDs and remember to include your license number.)
