How to read your BMI

Talk to your doctor about your BMI to see if you are at increased risk. A small weight loss (as little as 10% of your body weight) may help lower your risk. If your BMI is greater than 35, talk to your doctor about the possibility of a referral to a comprehensive program for weight loss management.
