Summa Health System will host its 11th annual Men Who Cook fundraising event, "Viva La Flavor," featuring 52 local amateur chefs (a full deck!) cooking up some of their best dishes. The fun, Las Vegas-themed event will feature great food and conclude with a panel of female judges picking this year's best dish from their favorite male cook. The event co-chairs for Men Who Cook are Debbie Zarconi and Jon Fiume.
For more information or to purchase tickets, call (800) 237-8662 or visit www.summahealth.org/menwhocook. Tickets are $60 per person, which includes admission, food tasting, recipe book and a ballot for the People's Choice Award. The $125 Patron Level also includes an additional ballot for the People's Choice Award and Patron listing the program and signage.
Men Who Cook will benefit Summa's Palliative Care and Hospice Services, which provide care to enhance the comfort and quality of life for patients with a broad range of conditions. The care we provide also reaches beyond Northeast Ohio - we are a partner in the Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa, so some of the proceeds from Men Who Cook will be provided to members of this Foundation. Funds will help provide for essentials such as computers, medicines, medical supplies and bags.
