MEDINA, Ohio, Aug. 9, 2012 – A Summer Send-Off scheduled for August 18 includes back-to-school giveaways and free health screenings at the Summa Health Center at Lake Medina. Summa’s doors will be open at 3780 Medina Road from 9 a.m. to noon for this free family-friendly activity.
The event will include a healthy cooking demo for kids, a back-to-school safety talk, free chair massages, and free giveaways including first aid kits and sports packs. Guests can also enter to win one of 10 Kindle Fire devices and take a self-guided tour of the facility. The Medina Health Department will also be providing back-to-school vaccinations for a small fee.

The Summa Health Center at Lake Medina is a 120,000-square-foot center that opened in 2010 and includes a full-service Emergency Department that opened in December 2011.
