Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon – Akron, OH

Summa Health is seeking a MIGS Specialist to join our employed physician group. At this time we are considering surgical applicants only. Our practice includes all aspects of pelvic health including but not limited to pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, trigger point injections, and minimally invasive surgery. The position does not include obstetrics.

The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of nearly 700 providers employed by the Summa Health System. Summa Health – headquartered in Akron, Ohio – is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state.  With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region.

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship
  • Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
  • Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education
  • Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient centered, team-based environment
