OB Hospitalist – Akron, Ohio

Summa Health is seeking board certified OB Hospitalists to join our employed physician group. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 350+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System. The system had roughly 4700 deliveries in 2022. In 2023, all of those deliveries will be on the Akron Campus. We anticipate volumes to continue to rise.
Summa Health – headquartered in Akron, Ohio – is one of the largest integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems in the state.  With 2 hospitals and 20+ health centers, Summa Health provides access to care throughout the region. 

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience practicing OB/GYN
  • Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
  • Experience and commitment to teaching and supervising residents and medical students is desired 
  • Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient centered, team-based environment
