Julie: Megan and I are best friends, and we do everything together.

Both: And we mean everything.

Megan: We even went through our breast cancer journey together.

Julie: I had just turned 40, and shockingly, at my very first mammogram, I came out of it with a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Megan: Shortly after Julie's diagnosis, I found a lump on my left breast, and was also diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, stage two.

Julie: And we were both treated at the Williams Center for Breast Health with Summa. They really went above and beyond.

Julie: The comprehensive care that we received, from mammograms to double mastectomy and beyond, was really incredible.

Megan: Life now, there's a new normal, but the support and the team at Summa has really helped us along that journey.

Julie: I can't stress enough how important it is for everybody to get out there and do early detection through mammograms and screenings, but also through your self-examinations, as Megan did.
