Lorna Kearney: "Last February, I went for my annual mammogram and I was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer, breast cancer. After I got my diagnosis, I was referred to the surgical oncologist at the Williams Center for Breast Health at Summa. She recommended a lumpectomy, with several weeks of radiation. My treatment plan was very successful.

The Summa staff, more or less, became my family at that time in my life. They will go to any lengths to help somebody going through a breast cancer diagnosis. Anybody I encountered at the Summa facility, on down to the lady that sits at the desk to register people, they still know me by name a year and a half later, and they always ask me how I'm doing it with my treatment. They're amazing people at Summa.

I'm fully recovered now, and after tackling breast cancer, I'm now tackling my opponents in football. And I am the oldest woman ever to play professional football at 66."
