Willie: Last February, I was at Summa Health for a triple bypass surgery, which is a major surgery. From the moment I was admitted to the hospital, I felt I was really in good hands,
Sandy: Starting with the nurse practitioner, she came in and she explained very clearly of what the procedure was going to be and even drew a picture of how this was gonna happen.
Willie: Anna was my primary nurse and she listened to what my fears were coming out of the surgery on the intubator, and as soon as I woke up, I saw her there, so it calmed me.
Sandy: She not only was trying to alleviate his fears, but she also was very concerned about making sure my needs were met as well. And boy, that goes a long way when you're going to something so major of a surgery.
Willie: If I could say anything to my nurses, especially Anna, thank you very much and a job well done.
