Getting through endometrial cancer feeling safe and secure under the care of a great team.

I was having vaginal bleeding when my family doctor referred me to Summa Women's Institute, and that's when I met Dr. Polen-De. And she diagnosed me with endometrial cancer, and that's when she recommended surgery and chemotherapy. When I hear the word cancer, of course, you panic; you're scared because you don't know what is next. 

Even though I was scared, Dr. Polen-De, she made me feel safe, secure. She said, "We're going to get through all this." Thank God, everything went well and I'm done with my chemo. I'm just taking my infusion for maintenance. 

And thanks, Dr. Polen-De and the Summa team to save my life. Now I'm so grateful that I had time to spend with my grandbabies and go to Disney World and have so much fun.
