Employees at S.A. Comunale organized a bake sale in October, with homemade cake pops, popcorn, cookies and more themed around Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The company donated the proceeds, $888, to the Summa Health Cancer Institute.
“S.A. Comunale believes very strongly in supporting our employees and supporting our community,” said Mary Phalen, talent acquisition specialist, who presented the donation to Summa officials. “We are proud to partner with Summa Health and support cancer patients.”
Such donations help Summa Health provide cancer patients access to financial advocacy, psychological counseling and social services; massage, yoga and physical therapies; wigs, wig fittings and wig care supplies; nutrition counseling and more.
S.A. Comunale is a leader in fire protection and commercial fire sprinkler systems, providing everything from design, manufacturing and installation to service, maintenance and inspection. For more, visit www.sacomunale.com.
