More than 100 golfers enjoyed a gorgeous day at Firestone Country Club on June 19, 2018, while benefiting nursing education and honoring Phil Kaufmann at the ninth annual Summa Health Golf Outing.
The event was a sellout with 120 golfers, raising nearly $220,000 to benefit Summa Health nurses. The annual outing has raised nearly $2.3 million since its inception to support continuing education, certification and more for the health system's 2,100-plus nurses.
Kaufmann, a longtime friend of Summa Health, was honored during a dinner following the outing. Click here to read more about Phil and watch his video tribute.
