Foot and Ankle
Bunions? Plantar Fasciitis? We can help.
Your feet and ankles are an intricate network of bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles. While they’re strong enough to bear your body weight and allow you to move, both can be prone to injury and pain.
Although mild foot and ankle pain often responds well to home treatments, it can take time to resolve. Your doctor should evaluate severe pain, especially if it follows an injury.
Foot and Ankle Conditions
Treatment Options
Your Summa Health foot and ankle specialist will discuss both nonsurgical and surgical treatment options for your condition. Many conditions can be treated nonsurgically. However, if surgery is necessary, our experienced orthopedic surgeons provide high-quality care and treatment.
Arthroscopic Surgery
Our foot and ankle surgeons perform the latest arthroscopic techniques when best appropriate for the patient. These less invasive procedures allow the surgeon to identify and treat your foot and ankle condition without making large incisions. Patients are usually treated as outpatients and can return home the same day.
