Our current contract with Optum/United Behavioral Health is set to expire on July 31, 2025. As a result, Summa Health has opened negotiations with Optum/United Behavioral Health to develop a new agreement.
In the event we are not able to reach an agreement on August 1, 2025, Optum/United Behavioral Health members will no longer be in-network at Summa Health facilities and Summa Health Medical Group locations.
This means, effective August 1, 2025, our contract with Optum/United Behavioral Health will terminate, and members will need to seek care at an in-network provider for behavioral health services.
