AKRON, Ohio, April 11, 2019 – The City of Green and surrounding areas will have another option for the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries with the opening of Summa Health Green Express Care. The 3,100 square-foot facility, located at 3593 South Arlington Rd., is set to open on Monday, April 15, in newly renovated space.
The facility will be staffed by a board-certified physician and advanced practice registered nurses. It will include a laboratory to provide rapid testing, such as urinalysis and strep, mono and urine pregnancy testing. In addition, a variety of treatment services will be offered, including:
The Summa Health Green Express Care location will treat patients Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are not necessary and the first 100 visitors will receive a care kit consisting of a first aid kit, cold pack, bandage dispenser and hand sanitizer.
