AKRON, Ohio, September 10, 2021– Summa Health announced today the upcoming opening of its Rootstown Medical Center located at 4211 State Route 44 in Rootstown on the current Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) campus. The facility will expand on Summa's current primary care and corporate health offerings at this location by providing a comprehensive list of services available to the community.
The Rootstown Medical Center will provide area residents the following services in one convenient location:

In addtion to the opening of the new center, Summa signed a contract to purchase the Rootstown Community Pharmacy located on the NEOMED campus. The pharmacy will be operated by Summa under the new name Summa Rootstown Community Pharmacy beginning October 1.
Recently opened across the street, Summa Health Therapy at Rootstown provides the community access to physical therapy, orthopedic sports medicine and a variety of other services.
