Support Groups Physical Therapy

Summa Health Cancer Institute offers several different Therapists work with the medical team to develop a plan
support groups, all providing an opportunity to meet to address weakness, fatigue, pain, swelling, soft tissue
and talk with others who are having similar experiences tightness or joint stiffness. Therapy can also help improve
coping with cancer. Patients, survivors, family members activities of daily living, balance and walking.
and friends are welcome.

Breast Cancer Program - National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers
The Summa Health Breast Program at Summa Health System – Akron and Barberton Campuses has been
granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast
Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the
NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality
breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.
