Meet the Athletic Training Team
Summa Health athletic trainers are committed to maintaining continuing education requirements in order to advance skills and knowledge of best practices in the evaluation, treatment, care and prevention of athletic injuries. Highly qualified in the roles, they are:
- Nationally certified through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
- Trained in ImPACT concussion testing
- Allied Healthcare Professionals, licensed by the State of Ohio OTPTAT Board with a minimum of a master's degree or equivalent experience
