The Centering Parenting group at the Summa Health Family Medicine Center focuses on providing mothers recovering from opiate addiction the support they need with their child(ren) beyond pregnancy within a group of peers. The group addresses key topics like stress management, nutrition and family planning, while supporting mothers to achieve their personal health goals. We also can provide patients with their OUD medication-assisted therapy (MAT) at the Family Medicine Center. Mothers are encouraged to bring their children to their visits to receive individual well-child visits, immunizations, screening and sick visits.
Who can join? Any mother and their child who is under 1 year of age
