Outstanding Maternity Care for You and Baby
Summa Health’s maternity center offers private, compassionate care and extended support — among the many reasons why more than 4,700 babies a year are born here. Here, you will feel educated and empowered in pregnancy, delivery and beyond.
Our team provides the comfort, convenience and peace of mind you expect from one of the region’s best places to give birth. We are ready to support and meet your medical needs with our 24/7 OB/GYN providers, house physicians, anesthesia, midwifery and full complement of adult hospital medical services as needed. Our patients have access to the specialty services of maternal fetal medicine providers and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staffed by Akron Children’s specialists for those critical medical needs of mother and baby.
Our Akron Children’s NICU provides the most advanced level of treatment available for critically ill newborns and those requiring special monitoring – keeping you and your baby together in the same facility.
Summa’s Akron Campus maternity services have earned several prestigious awards for our commitment to quality care for mothers, newborns and their families.
