The CenteringPregnancy program at the Women's Health Center is currently focused on the care of pregnant women with addiction. The majority of women in the group are in recovery for opiate use. In concert with the Addiction Medicine service, we provide group prenatal care, access to medication-assisted treatment, and group recovery services – all at the same time, in one convenient location. Women who are enrolled may receive prescriptions for Subutex, or other treatment as needed. We work with various partners in the community including IBH, Oriana House, CHC, and Brightview to provide the best possible care for moms and babies.
Who can join? Any expectant mother who meets the criteria. The Substance Use Recovery Group accepts mothers at any time during their pregnancy.
Registration: Call our Women's Health Center at 330.375.4075 to find out if you qualify and to be placed in a Centering group.
