Summa Health values its community partnerships and remains committed to the health of the communities it serves. Our work to achieve organizational stability is ongoing. This work includes transitioning to a for-profit structure, strengthening operations and making targeted investments that ensure patients continue to receive consistent, reliable care and support our dedicated staff. During this process, Summa has made the difficult decision to suspend all community philanthropic activity until further notice. Suspending these efforts will enable Summa to focus efforts and resources to fulfill its mission to provide the highest quality compassionate care and contribute to a healthier community. We look forward to once again accepting applications for support when funding becomes available.
