The ambulatory care experience in both pediatric and adult urology takes place in private office settings. For pediatrics and the SUMMA clinics, these sessions are on the main campus. For Cleveland Clinic Akron General, clinic visits are at a community office facility. A faculty member who is physically present in the ambulatory care office staff all clinics. All adult clinic patients are under the management of the chief residents who function as attending faculty during these sessions. The goal of the outpatient clinic rotation is to provide competence in the office evaluation and management of patients with urologic disease as well as to expose the resident to the inner workings/staffing of a urology practice. House Clinic is held every Wednesday afternoon.
