Optimizing Mobility to Maintain Function for Age-Friendly Care

On October 7, 2025, members of Summa Health Complex Care Institute and other medical professionals gathered for a day of discussion and inquiry. The symposium focused on movement, balance and fall prevention; important considerations in the Mobility component of Age-Friendly Care, and included lectures, panel discussions and interaction with community partners. 

This one-day educational event was designed for multidisciplinary care team members including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, therapists, case workers and administrators who care for older adults in their practice.
