Healing Gardens at Summa Health

Summa Health maintains three healing gardens — therapeutic and natural areas that offer a serene experience for patients, visitors and staff. Each outdoor space features comforting benches and a peaceful respite.

Cancer Institute garden

This healing garden was made possible by a generous gift from Susan G. and David F. Banks, Sr. Located outside the Jean and Milton Cooper Pavilion and the Summa Health Cancer Institute, it provides a beautiful and soothing experience for cancer patients and their families on the Summa Health System — Akron Campus.

Serenity garden

This healing garden features artwork, flowers, shrubs and small trees and offers a quiet place to reflect and relax on the Summa Health System — Akron Campus. It is located outside the Ann and David Brennan Pavilion.

Barberton garden and fountain

This fountain and healing garden are dedicated in honor of Andrew and Elaine Lecon, courtesy of a generous gift by Paul and Kathie (Lecon) Testa. This tranquil space overlooks a park near the Summa Health System — Barberton Campus.
